Role Overview:

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will be instrumental in fostering business growth within the Education, State, County, and Municipal Government sectors. This strategic role entails identifying new business prospects, nurturing client relationships, and enhancing program engagement. As the leader in this capacity, you will work closely with internal teams, influence brand strategy, and ensure client satisfaction.

Your Contributions:

Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new strategic business opportunities through comprehensive market analysis and competitive insights.
- Understand client requirements and customize solutions to meet their needs effectively.
- Oversee the complete sales process, from initial outreach to finalizing agreements.

Client Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with current clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns and proactively managing expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
- Proactively resolve client issues to maintain high retention and loyalty levels.
- Conduct strategic sourcing, prepare contracts, and ensure optimal management of supplier relationships.

Government Sector Expertise:
- Focus on State, Local, County, City, Higher Education, K-12, and Special Districts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Work on special initiatives for key clients, including menu planning, compliance audits, and RFP support.

Strategic Sourcing and Contract Management:
- Execute strategic sourcing activities to enhance supplier relationships.
- Prepare and finalize contracts for designated categories.
- Review cooperative purchasing agreements to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Brand Strategy and Execution:
- Contribute to the development of BEP's brand strategy and market approach.
- Collaborate with other brands, marketing, and product teams to create cross-selling and educational initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the State/Local Government and Education sectors.


Proven success in government procurement sales, with knowledge of cooperative contracts and relevant associations.

- Familiarity with the piggyback bidding process and Group Purchasing Organizations.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with a track record of engaging audiences of up to 100 individuals.
- Significant experience in contract drafting and negotiation.

Skills:
- Proficient in Salesforce, Tableau Reporting, and Microsoft Business Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Understanding of strategic sourcing and contract management principles.
- Passionate about driving client success and achieving revenue goals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Solid grasp of compliance requirements for government contracts.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and techniques.
- Experience in developing and maintaining industry relationships.
