Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

ASARCO LLC is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of equipment and ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise maintenance personnel and procedures to provide major, routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
  • Coordinate crafts and support personnel in field maintenance activities to minimize downtime and operating costs.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce costs and operating downtimes.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Total Safety Culture Program (TSCP) measures and goals.
  • Communicate goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to employees, coaching them in their development toward accomplishing goals.
  • Engage in interactive management with employee-related issues, recognizing and correcting employee behaviors and plant operating conditions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Administer work procedures in accordance with company policies, locating parts, acquiring quotes, and providing necessary information to purchasing and management.
  • Track requisitions and purchase orders through the purchasing process until parts are received to meet delivery expectations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of college, technical school, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years maintenance experience.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Able to troubleshoot, perform maintenance planning, project management, and predictive management.
  • Good computer skills with MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capable of managing time effectively and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
