Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at UCI Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care in a safe and effective manner.
Responsibilities- Collect and document patient data, providing appropriate care based on the patient's age and needs.
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Provide activities of daily living, including patient hygiene, ambulation, and vital sign collection.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- One year of acute care experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Current AHA Provider Basic Life Support certification.
- Nursing Assistant Certificate or currently enrolled in a Nursing program.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Current enrollment in a BSN program.
- Medical Terminology knowledge.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
