Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows a CNA to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

About the Role:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining/recording vital signs.
  • Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
  • Transfer, reposition, and walk residents using correct transfer techniques and equipment.
  • Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.

About You:

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $17.00 - $25.50 per hour.

  • Must be medically qualified to perform essential driving functions, if applicable.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver's license, if applicable.
