The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team in Park River, ND. As a member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to our long-term care residents.

About the Role

This part-time position offers an estimated salary of $20.50 per hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
  • Assist residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
  • Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
