The Seminole Tribe of Florida is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the Real Estate Department as an Assistant Director. This key leadership position involves complex professional and administrative work, managing Homesite Leases, Right-of-Way, Easement, and commercial property management functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the operations of the Real Estate Department
  • Manage staff of 20 and provide guidance on real estate practices, mortgage origination, and land use ordinance administration
  • Negotiate commercial leases and manage general commercial property management activities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for real estate operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the community to establish effective working relationships
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Eight (8) years of progressively responsible managerial experience in real estate, including experience in commercial property management and mortgage originations
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in Yardi Commercial Property Management Software
  • Master's Degree with major course work in Real Estate, Urban planning, Business, Finance, or similarly related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with municipal governments
  • Prior experience working with Tribal Lands
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software packages and databases

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
