About the Role

Pacific Clinics is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Mobile Mental Health Evaluation Team, you will play a critical role in responding to psychiatric emergencies and providing crisis intervention services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health or behavioral crises
  • Conduct crisis assessments and develop individualized plans to address client needs
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, healthcare providers, and other community stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide education and support to family members and natural supports to promote crisis prevention and resolution
  • Document all interactions and services provided in accordance with Medi-Cal regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred
  • One year of experience working in the mental health field, with a focus on crisis intervention and response
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services
