Department Opportunities

We have three department opportunities available:

  • Income Maintenance
    • Assist with public assistance program departments, including food assistance, cash assistance, and medical programs.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and assist clients with information and referrals.
    • Process Agency mail and complete routine paperwork and clerical duties.
  • Investigations & Adult Protective Services
    • Assist with obtaining computer matches and preparing subpoenas to places of employment.
    • Process and prepare mail for agency purposes and prepare overpayment letters.
    • Conduct address verification and complete routine paperwork and clerical duties.
  • Social Services
    • Assist with Social Service programs, including Non-Emergency Transportation and Publicly Funded Child Care.
    • Assist with necessary paperwork and data entry on clients and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate records and complete general clerical duties.
Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

  • Be currently in your final year of post-secondary education or a recent graduate.
  • Have exceptional computer skills and strong administrative and document management skills.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Be able to multitask and meet deadlines.
