Senior Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System. As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will play a key role in providing leadership and expertise to our professional and support staff in the treatment and education of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop personalized treatment plans to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
- Implement and adapt various therapy techniques and devices to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to facilitate participation and improvement.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and patient conferences to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Act as a mentor and resource for staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Graduate from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current licensure with the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for Texas or temporary licensure in Texas.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
