Your Tailor Made Senior Service is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide physical therapy treatments and procedures to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in Providing Patient Care
    • Work with Physical Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
    • Assist patients in practicing exercises or functional activities
    • Observe patients during treatments and document progress
  • Communicate with Patients and Caregivers
    • Communicate with patients and caregivers to discuss treatment plans and progress
    • Provide education and instruction to patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities and treatment plans
  • Operate Equipment and Maintain a Safe Environment
    • Operate physical therapy equipment and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
    • Monitor and record the use of equipment and administration of treatment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Associates degree or certification from a physical therapy program
    • Experience working in a physical therapy setting, preferably in home health care
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Basic understanding of physical therapy and medical terminology
