We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mission Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
