Senior System Administrator

About the Role
The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of server, network, and workstation availability across all offices nationwide. This role requires developing and demonstrating proficiency in the essential functions of the job, including server administration, network configuration, and workstation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Server Administration: Maintain and support Windows Servers 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Network Configuration: Administer Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Print Services.
- Workstation Support: Setup and support workstations and printers.
- Backup Systems: Implement and support backup systems on Veeam and Backup Exec/ViceVersa.
- File Archiving and Restore: Maintain Microsoft SQL database Servers and create, implement, and customize OS deployments and software.
- Microsoft CA/PKI: Implement and manage Microsoft CA/PKI.
- Networking: Configure and manage basic firewall, switch, routing, and VLAN.
- iSCSI Networking: Administer SAN/NAS and VMWare Virtual Networking.
- Virtualization: Manage vCenter/ESXI Host Management and VMWare VMs.
- Storage: Administer SAN/NAS and Windows NTFS/Share permissions.
- Monitoring/Automation: Implement and manage hardware monitoring, RMM/monitoring tool deployment, and software deployment/automation.
- General: Ability to take initiative, solve problems, lead projects, and work independently or in a team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Seven (7) years of experience in a corporate setting performing the essential functions of this position.
- Experience with hardware: Dell, HP, Cisco, Extreme, Konica, Toshiba, Oce, and Canon.
- Experience with software: Windows Server, Windows 11 & 10, MS Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Autodesk is a plus.
