Job Description

Amtraco is a multinational conglomerate headquartered in the United States, overseeing the shared services of HR, IT, and Finance for its operating units. The four distinct operating units owned by Amtraco are:

EPSI – a distribution company serving the surface finishing industry with a presence in major global markets.

STM – a manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes

FAST – a distributor of tapes and related products for the framing, architectural, signs, and trophy markets.

SBM – a commercial real estate company that acquires, develops, and leases commercial properties.

Job Summary

  • Develop and implement strategies to boost the overall commercial growth of the company.
  • Oversee the operational and financial management of the company.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and customers to create business growth opportunities.
  • Formulate financial plans that align with the company's goals.
  • Identify expansion and growth opportunities and utilize commercial management skills to implement them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate with clients, customers, and suppliers to maximize profit margins.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Business Unit Manager.
  • Conduct market research to identify prospective business opportunities.
  • Maintain records of budgets, expenses, and revenue related to the commercial manager role.
  • Support other departments with queries about commercial processes.
  • Manage commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Key Account management.
  • Strategic pricing and margin management.
  • Develop growth strategies to expand markets.
  • Direct the E-Commerce Strategy.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Commercial and/or Sales Manager.
  • Knowledge of business development and marketing principles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management.
  • 10-15 years of experience working in the pressure sensitive adhesives industry.
  • Experience managing a CRM system.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure as a commercial manager.
  • Skillset to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and customers.
