Global Commercial Director

Amtraco is a multinational conglomerate headquartered in the United States, overseeing the shared services of HR, IT, and Finance for its operating units. The four distinct operating units owned by Amtraco are:
EPSI – a distribution company serving the surface finishing industry with a presence in major global markets.
STM – a manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes
FAST – a distributor of tapes and related products for the framing, architectural, signs, and trophy markets.
SBM – a commercial real estate company that acquires, develops, and leases commercial properties.
Job Summary
- Develop and implement strategies to boost the overall commercial growth of the company.
- Oversee the operational and financial management of the company.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and customers to create business growth opportunities.
- Formulate financial plans that align with the company's goals.
- Identify expansion and growth opportunities and utilize commercial management skills to implement them.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate with clients, customers, and suppliers to maximize profit margins.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Business Unit Manager.
- Conduct market research to identify prospective business opportunities.
- Maintain records of budgets, expenses, and revenue related to the commercial manager role.
- Support other departments with queries about commercial processes.
- Manage commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Key Account management.
- Strategic pricing and margin management.
- Develop growth strategies to expand markets.
- Direct the E-Commerce Strategy.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Commercial and/or Sales Manager.
- Knowledge of business development and marketing principles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management.
- 10-15 years of experience working in the pressure sensitive adhesives industry.
- Experience managing a CRM system.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, administration, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently under pressure as a commercial manager.
- Skillset to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and customers.
