About the Role

As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, which provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs to building systems to ensure they meet or exceed applicable standards.
  • Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of building machinery and systems.
  • Review inspections of building and industrial systems to ensure they operate within design capabilities and achieve environmental conditions prescribed by clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share knowledge of job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • Universal CFC certification and valid driver's license required.
  • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
