Pediatric Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Dignity Health. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to children of all ages, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients of all ages in accordance with individual needs, physician orders, and Hospital policy.
  • Direct and coordinate members of the care team, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational values.
  • Establish and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with other staff members, physicians, patients, patient family members, and the public as appropriate.
  • Document and communicate all observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patient condition to the appropriate member of the interdisciplinary health care team.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse with current California license.
  • Minimum 1 year current acute care registered nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
  • Minimum 1 year current acute care registered nursing experience in Pediatrics.
