Job Summary: Sigma seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy and related services to patients. The ideal candidate will maintain positive relationships with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients using a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function/occupation and developmental disorders.
  • Utilize knowledge of growth and development principles to ensure effective patient care.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs to meet patients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
  • Empower patients and caregivers to determine their own path to independence by optimizing resource utilization.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Work towards discharge goals established at initial evaluation and throughout the episode of care.
  • Act as a patient advocate.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Basic Internet navigation skills.
  • Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
  • BLS/BCLS certifications.
  • Valid state license (Where applicable).
  • SNF experience - Required.
