Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Site Foreman to join our team at Rocky Mountain Excavating Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of site concrete operations, including managing a concrete crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and supervise daily activities of concrete personnel, including preparing and submitting daily timesheets, progress reports, and invoices.
  • Order materials and equipment for concrete work on projects, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and provided for project completion.
  • Ensure that concrete work conforms to applicable plans and specifications, maintaining quality control to ensure all work meets acceptable standards.
  • Supervise and direct proper safety standards for concrete crews, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications that govern concrete work, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project completion.
  • Work alongside crews, operating equipment and performing general labor work to complete construction projects safely and within contract requirements.
  • Calculate required quantities of concrete and materials, ensuring accurate estimates and project timelines.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters related to work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 3 years concrete experience
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
  • Meet the requirements under FMCSA for a qualified driver to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle
Physical Demands
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions
