We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Imaging Support Specialist to join our team at MedQuest Associates LLC. As an Imaging Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Preparation: Screen patients prior to exam day, assist with paperwork, and obtain medical history from patients.
- Exam Support: Escort patients to and from the changing room, ensure they are dressed appropriately for the exam, and assist the technologist in preparing the exam table.
- Logistics and Administration: Collate films and deliver to Radiologists, maintain linen inventory, and assist with quarterly imaging inventory.
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between the Technologist and Radiologist, and research availability and obtain reports and films requested by Radiologists.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications: Must have CPR certification
- Experience: Minimum 0 – 2 years of experience, with prior experience as a technical assistant preferred
