About the Role:
As the Community Engagement Leader, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Living in Recovery Community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming new participants into the Living in Recovery Community, ensuring that their experience is vibrant, engaging, and sustainable.
- Identifying and encouraging members to assume leadership positions within the community.
- Providing training to volunteer members regarding the recovery journey, available pathways, and various support mechanisms.
- Adapting your schedule to accommodate community events and programs, which may include evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with experience in supervising and recruiting volunteers or staff, a solid understanding of the local recovery landscape, and strong facilitation and presentation abilities. Personal experience of at least two years in recovery is essential. An Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred, and certification as a Recovery Coach is advantageous; however, training will be provided. A valid driver's license and the capability to operate a large passenger van for program activities are also required.
Compensation and Benefits:
ServiceNet offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $35,000 to $40,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
