Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will provide psychological testing, counseling, and evaluations to defined populations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, score, and interpret psychometric and projective tests, as well as other psychodiagnostic techniques and behavior observations.
- Provide treatment to adults and/or adolescents and children, including initial interviews, gathering and reviewing relevant information, and determining urgency of members' needs.
- Render appropriate and immediate guidance and therapy for members in crisis or in need of clinical services, maintaining written records of therapy and preparing reports and letters.
- Provide telephone assessment, counseling, resource information, and referrals, transmitting diagnostic and assessment information to referring professionals through verbal and written reports.
- Conduct program evaluation to assess quality of care and cost effectiveness of clinical procedures, and may provide case management services to defined populations.
- Offer consultation and inservice training to other mental health professionals on clinical issues relevant to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders.
- Doctorate degree from an APA-accredited doctorate program with specialization in a field of clinical or counseling psychology.
- Two or more years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting, or a pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral internship, or fellowship at Kaiser Permanente.
- Psychologist License (California).
- Internship in an APA-approved program.
This is a part-time position with a scheduled weekly hours of 20. The work schedule is Tuesday 9:00am-5:30pm, Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, and Wednesday or Monday 1:00pm-4:30pm. The primary location is California, Orange, Orange Rehabilitation Pavilion.
