This Clinical Faculty position is an exciting opportunity to provide neuropsychological services to transitional age youth and adults in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UCI School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychological and neuropsychological assessments and evidence-based psychotherapeutic services in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychiatry residents and fellows, psychology trainees, and Master's Level therapists and case managers.
- Supervise trainees, including medical students, residents, and fellows, and psychology students and interns.
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects and generate detailed patient reports.
PhD in Clinical Psychology, California Licensure, established expertise in neuropsychological assessments of adults with mental health disorders, expertise in psychological assessment and evidence-based psychotherapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and exposure and response prevention therapy.
Experience with advanced diagnostic assessment tools, including the SCID, SIPS, family assessment tools, and rating scales measuring clinical outcomes and function, is desirable. Experience conducting neuropsychological assessments in children and transitional age youth is also desirable.
