Job Overview:

The Treasury Accountant will play a vital role within the Treasury division, focusing on the processing of daily electronic transactions, managing cash-related journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, and addressing audit inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process and document daily wire transfers and ACH electronic payments.
  2. Monitor and assess disbursement activities, ensuring alignment with system records and banking operations.
  3. Record journal entries pertaining to cash transactions.
  4. Collaborate with banking institutions for account setup, closure, and modifications.
  5. Manage and audit online banking users and authorized signatories.
  6. Evaluate and forecast bank fees and interest earnings.
  7. Assist in the preparation of precise and timely financial statements and month-end closings.
  8. Analyze daily cash balances and investment portfolios.
  9. Investigate, resolve, and document check inquiries and stop payments.
  10. Conduct Bank Reconciliations and address any discrepancies.
  11. Serve as a backup for other Treasury functions and engage in various project-related tasks as required.

Qualifications/Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline is required.
Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience is necessary.
