Human Resources Specialist

About the Job
The Army National Guard's Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in guiding Soldiers through their Guard careers and offering personnel support across all Guard divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, review, and maintain personnel records
- Perform data entry and retrieval tasks
- Process recommendations and coordinate awards ceremonies
- Manage requests for evaluations, ID cards, tags, leaves of absence, and passes
- Oversee office supplies and filing systems
Job Duties
- Provide human resource support
- Manage strength distribution actions
- Ensure Soldier readiness, health, and welfare
- Offer postal and personnel accountability support
- Update emergency notification data
Requirements
- Army National Guard enlistment
- Minimum of junior high school standing, high school diploma, or GED
- Age between 17 and 35
- Meet physical, legal, and moral standards
- Citizenship requirements apply
