Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Early Childhood Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Starfish Family Services. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and developmentally supportive interventions to children birth to age five with various medical, developmental, physical, and/or mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to children in a preschool setting, including assessments, treatment planning, and intervention
* Collaborate with mental health and early childhood education staff to provide supportive multidisciplinary services to children and families
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote maximum independence and functional abilities
* Evaluate patient progress and make recommendations for adjustments and modifications as needed
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
* Current State of Michigan Occupational Therapy license
* National Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapists
* At least one year of direct work experience in providing services to children and their families
* Strong knowledge of typical and atypical child development, infancy and early childhood development, and family systems treatment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
