Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a proficient and driven Advanced IT Support Specialist to become a vital part of our IT support team. The successful candidate will have a robust technical foundation, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction. In this role, you will provide high-level technical assistance, address intricate IT challenges, and ensure the optimal functioning of our clients' systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Address and resolve escalated helpdesk requests promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct system diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Work in conjunction with Tier 1 support personnel to provide a seamless support experience for clients.
  • Document and track support inquiries, solutions, and work completed.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk capacity. (REQUIRED)
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience in network troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Expertise in diagnosing hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and other prevalent enterprise applications.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous.
