Position Overview:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for executing maintenance tasks that require technical skills, including plumbing, light carpentry, HVAC repairs, and appliance servicing. You will oversee a team to ensure that maintenance standards are consistently met, manage capital projects, and maintain the budget in collaboration with management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team member recruitment, training, and scheduling.
  • Conduct safety training and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Evaluate and approve team performance.
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and rental units for maintenance needs.
  • Install and maintain tools, appliances, and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and document findings.
  • Ensure proper upkeep of resort buildings and equipment.
  • Manage service requests and track their frequency.
  • Guarantee maintenance team adheres to company standards.
  • Oversee community mechanical equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain resort landscaping and irrigation systems.
  • Manage propane services for rental units.
  • Create weekly work schedules to optimize productivity.
  • Operate within the approved maintenance budget.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff.
  • Assist with special maintenance projects as needed.
  • Provide on-call emergency services when required.

Compensation:
Starting at $50,000 annually
