About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Human Resources Director to join our team at Acumen Executive Search. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our company and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnering
    • Collaborate with senior executives to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, ensuring consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices.
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
    • Work closely with the CHRO to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, performance reviews, and succession planning.
    • Partner with the Talent Director to identify training needs and develop coaching programs for employees.
    • Support the recruitment process and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify capability gaps and future needs.
    • Lead the execution of the global Annual Rewards Cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • People Leadership, Values, and Culture
    • Lead and develop the HR Team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and excellence.
    • Analyze HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Partner with the Culture and Experience team to develop programs that align with the company's mission and values.
    • Role model the company's mission, vision, and values, supporting the ongoing development of the organization's culture.
  • Compliance Management
    • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
    • Ensure compliance of all HR policies, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Review and recommend changes to company policies, procedures, and practices to implement industry best practices.
    • Partner with Operations to support compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of Human Resource-related experience, with at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources, or equivalent experience required. A master's degree is preferred.
  • SHRM CP credential is preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is required.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Management experience and manufacturing leadership experience is required.
  • Skilled at developing strong relationships with senior executives, earning high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust.
  • Effective collaborator, building strong partnerships with diverse, cross-functional, and regional teams.
  • Proficient in identifying and managing stakeholders, understanding their needs, concerns, and adapting accordingly.
  • Strong organizational development and project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategies and programs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and manage competing priorities with precision.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous, unclear, or conflicting information.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation.
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
