Position Overview

CNC Milling Technician - Evening Shift

MSK Precision Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the medical device sector based in South Florida, is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Technician with expertise in 3 and 5 Axis operations.

Our company is dedicated to producing high-precision components and assemblies for the medical, telecommunications, and aerospace fields, with a focus on intricate medical and aerospace parts.

We also have a packaging and assembly division, allowing us to offer both individual components and complete assemblies to our clients.

Our certifications include: AS9100D Certified, ISO 13485 Certified, and ISO 9001 Certified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC vertical milling centers based on verbal or written instructions, sketches, or engineering drawings (including Haas 3-axis and DMG 3-axis with 2-axis trunnion).
  • Ensure all necessary setup and operational documentation, such as process sheets and inspection checklists, are available.
  • Confirm the correct tooling, speeds, feeds, and processes to meet production and quality standards.
  • Adjust or initiate CNC programs for the production of specific components.
  • Enhance existing programs, tooling, or processes to meet or exceed production and quality goals.
  • Conduct first piece verification, complete in-process checklists, and maintain all dimensions within specified tolerances.
  • Provide training and support to less experienced operators on job-specific tasks, including documentation, and verify the efficiency and accuracy of parts produced by trained operators.
  • Make necessary adjustments to setups, tool wear offsets, or CNC programs as needed. Communicate any changes in program processes, production, or quality requirements to operators.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned machinery according to approved schedules.
  • Document and report any modifications made to machine setups or programs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring housekeeping standards are met.
  • Carry out additional production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
  • Proficient in machining tight-tolerance components.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Skilled in using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, vision systems, etc.).
  • Familiarity with common CNC programming.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in an ISO-certified environment is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, working towards shared company and team objectives.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, evening shift.
