We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Lead to oversee our procurement operations. This role is crucial in managing the acquisition of essential materials and services while ensuring the integrity of supplier relationships and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement activities for the AbelZeta US division, focusing on production materials, laboratory supplies, office essentials, and catering services.
- Manage the execution and documentation of procurement processes, including sourcing, price evaluations, negotiations, contract creation, ordering, and tracking of payments and deliveries.
- Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to finalize contracts and gather necessary information.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to assess material suppliers, manage changes, and investigate any deviations.
- Uphold ethical procurement practices and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Facilitate demand management, sourcing, order execution, financial transactions, and supplier performance assessments.
- Ensure adherence to the company's Procurement System and supervise compliance across departments.
- Implement systematic management of purchased items to guarantee timely and accurate information flow.
- Coordinate with the US Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to develop material demand forecasts aligned with production schedules.
- Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety protocols and Information Security procedures to protect company interests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in biopharmaceutical or similar sectors.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with GMP principles is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic procurement, and inventory management systems.
- Adaptable and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
