Position Summary:
The Senior Engineer, Project Development will be responsible for spearheading the creation of energy audits and performance contracts. This role involves collaborating with designated staff Engineers and Project Managers to formulate design concepts aimed at enhancing energy efficiency by identifying, evaluating, and structuring both technical and financial solutions that align with client goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough site investigations and utility analyses to assess energy conservation measures (ECMs) related to HVAC, EMS, building envelope, and heating and cooling systems.
2. Perform energy savings calculations and design retrofits for HVAC, EMS, and Central Plant systems.
3. Develop cost estimates and detailed descriptions of energy conservation measures to support technical audits and EPC proposals.
4. Utilize industry-standard software, including Carrier HAP and Microsoft Excel, to create mechanical designs and perform energy calculations.
5. Mentor and guide junior engineers in the design of mechanical systems and the preparation of investment-grade audits.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory; PE registration is preferred.
- LEED AP and CEM certifications are advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC, EMS, and/or central plant design is essential.
- Familiarity with plumbing and/or fire protection system design is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in energy conservation and building system retrofits is desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as necessary.
