Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide critical support for the development and construction of renewable energy projects in the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice on real estate matters related to renewable energy projects, including lease agreements, co-tenancy agreements, and shared facilities agreements.
  • Review title documents, resolve title issues, and negotiate title insurance policies.
  • Work closely with our business partners to ensure project readiness and provide solutions to real estate and permitting issues.
  • Collaborate with our legal leadership to identify and resolve risks and opine on whether a project should be approved for construction.
Requirements:
  • J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from a U.S. university.
  • Admission to a state bar in the United States, with preference for membership in either the Illinois bar or Texas bar.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a real estate lawyer in the renewable space.
