About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at WSP USA. As a key member of our Northeast Civil Transportation team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase design and construction infrastructure projects in the public and private sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides high-level technical assistance and guidance for multi-site/phase design and construction infrastructure projects
  • Researches, develops, and implements design and construction plans for infrastructure projects
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute project work on mid-level and/or multiple concurrent projects
  • Coordinates and reviews infrastructure design plans to ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations
  • Prepares comprehensive technical reports and presentations to explain research, concepts, and recommendations
  • Analyzes and evaluates data obtained during field investigations to develop action plans for risk mitigation activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline
  • 7-10 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design
  • Engineer license required
  • Proficient with civil engineering principles, practices, and processes
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure design and construction management
  • Well-defined specific knowledge of relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements
