About the Role

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker I to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Center, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers and providing personalized banking solutions to meet their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use a consultative approach to identify and meet the financial needs of customers, including cross-selling and upselling products and services.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products and services, and recommend solutions to customers based on their needs.
  • Utilize marketing tools and strategies to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
  • Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners to provide timely and holistic financial solutions to customers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals, and enhance year-over-year revenue growth.
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent work experience, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
  • Experience in the financial industry, preferably in a retail banking or sales role.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures, and make sound decisions based on that knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is required for this role.
