About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and/or coordinate activities in electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and/or computer programming.
  • Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
  • Design and lead key data-driven activities such as annual planning cycle, corporate awards nominations, hiring attainment and project.
  • Execute data product with agile methodology, determines data structure requirements by analyzing operations, applications, and current systems.
  • Build new data models and ensure data products integrate with existing data/subject areas.
  • Interact directly with key stakeholders to define and manage business needs and requirements.
  • Define, design and develop various data product that service a range of domain areas within GOQ.
  • Build housings for data and related views using SAP, SQL, Master Data Services, Excel, data models and data mapping specifications.
  • Generate code required to build the physical database.
  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and KPI per end-user requirement.
  • Create executive data extracts for communications across a broad audience.
  • Organize and analyze large amounts of data, creating pivot tables, and analyzing results and trends using analytic tools.
  • Coordinate with business users, subject matter experts and developers.
  • Drive all project management and artifacts to completion to ensure project compliance.
  • Utilize data mining & database architecture along with programming skills and an understanding of Relational Databases Management concepts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related data science role.
  • Specific skills required: Design and development of ETL pipelines and data models; SQL, Transact SQL, Relational Database (RDBMS), SQL Server, Snowflake, and SSAS; Performing data visualization and reporting using Excel and Power BI; Translating business requirements to technical specifications; Building and maintaining databases; and Performance optimization and SQL Queries and reports.
