Under the supervision of the Director of Facility Operations, the Maintenance Mechanic Power Technician II performs duties relevant to the safe and efficient operation, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs of the facility and Boilers/steam distribution system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance and repairs of facility systems, including HVAC, medical gas, and energy management systems.
  • Operates and maintains boilers and steam distribution systems.
  • Performs pipe fitting, pump repair, and valve operations.
  • Welds and fabricates metal components.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school or trade school graduate.
  • Four years of boiler experience preferred.
  • General mechanical knowledge and ability to possess a license to operate a boiler if necessary.
