Job Description:
Job Summary:The Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens for laboratory testing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are committed to providing excellent patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood and other specimens from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storing.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing, including patient information and test results.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate testing and reporting of results.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed (as required by state).
- Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent patient interaction skills, both in person and by phone.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $23.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
