Job Summary

The Water Resources Intern will work on a multi-disciplinary team developing roadway transportation construction plans for VDOT and/or municipal localities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of water resources engineering and contribute to the design of infrastructure and buildings that improve the world.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of roadway transportation construction plans
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support project development
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and records

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Biology, Environmental or other relevant degree
  • Effective oral/written communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time accordingly
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn more about the field while working on these challenges
