Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Materials Procurement Associate to join our team at Genpact.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing material processes and systems, ensuring accurate signals, and providing data cleanliness requirements. You will also work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure short-term execution and longer-term planning to meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs effectively. They should also possess established project management skills, experience working in or directly with manufacturing facilities, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and resolve challenges simultaneously.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy, and collaborate with sources and assembly teams to mitigate disruptions while reducing delinquency to achieve 100% OTD.

Additionally, you will have access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems, utilize multiple sources outside of your team to arrive at decisions, and propose different solutions outside of set parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage material processes and systems to provide accurate signals
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure short-term execution and longer-term planning
  • Ensure data cleanliness requirements and provide analysis of huge datasets
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines
  • Collaborate with sources and assembly teams to mitigate disruptions and reduce delinquency
  • Propose different solutions outside of set parameters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years materials, planning, fulfillment, procurement, or manufacturing operations experience)
  • Hands-on experience analyzing huge datasets
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office Applications

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
