At Quality Support Services, we are seeking a highly motivated Production and Packaging Associate to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our production and packaging department.

Job Summary:

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to read and understand instructions for assembly, packaging, and operating secondary machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained in handling, packaging, and finishing of all products packaged.
  • Comply with safety, operating policies, procedures regarding equipment, materials, and finished goods.
  • Perform multiple tasks such as shrink wrapping and operating multiple machines.
  • Ensure correct quantity of product per carton and proper packaging requirements are followed.
  • Labels Cartons, W.I.P., or products accurately. Verify box and UPC label accuracy with packaged product.
  • Inspect product at each step of secondary and/or packaging process for quality defects. Perform necessary rework as required to adhere to quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Maintain strict housekeeping guidelines and safety practices at all times.
  • Recognize and report any problems, issues, discrepancies, or questions to Process Technician and/or Supervisor in a timely fashion.
Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to read and understand instructions for assembly, packaging, and operating secondary machinery.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Work Environment:

The production and packaging department is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Estimated Salary: $16.50/hour
