Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Harrison Group. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
    • Ensure tables are clean and well-set
    • Distribute menus and present daily specials
    • Take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen
    • Deliver food, beverages, and other requested items to customers
    • Ensure food is prepared correctly and to customers' satisfaction
    • Collect plates and clear tables as customers finish their meals
    • Prepare customer checks and collect payments
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Operate point-of-sale systems
    • Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages)
    • Previous experience as a server preferred
    • Must successfully complete restaurant training course
  • Physical Requirements
    • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
    • Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
