About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager in Training to join our team at Rent A Center. As a Store Manager in Training, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, managing store operations, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct sales activities, approve rental agreements, and monitor sales performance.
  • Account Management: Oversee collection activities, follow up on accounts that require manager intervention, approve customer commitments, and provide leadership and training to ensure compliance with established procedures and practices.
  • Leadership and Management: Monitor and achieve planned results for profits, effectively manage and direct store resources, ensure compliance with company policies, protect company assets, and resolve problems and complaints quickly.
  • Coworker Management: Oversee and provide effective training and development for all coworkers, schedule and organize daily activities and goals, staff, recruit, and hire for assigned stores, maximize retention of coworkers, and reduce turnover.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of retail or management experience
  • Completion of Rent A Center's Store Manager Development Program during training period
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in store operation applications
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record
