We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Millwork Project Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will oversee custom millwork projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications and exceed expectations.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of unique projects, each requiring a detailed understanding of architectural woodworking, custom wood furniture, and commercial furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of custom millwork projects, from initial design and planning to production and installation.
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and create innovative solutions.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other project documents.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within cost parameters.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure that all pieces are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes, identifying any issues or defects and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Regularly communicate project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continually seek ways to improve processes and outcomes, contributing to the overall success and growth of our business.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the Manufacturing industry, specifically in architectural woodworking and custom millwork.
  • Proven experience with custom wood furniture and commercial furniture projects.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and overseeing quality control processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, designers, architects, and production teams.
  • A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant technology.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Manufacturing, or Woodworking would be advantageous.
