Role Summary:

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of complex IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stringent compliance standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and senior stakeholders, the IT Project Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating resources, defining project objectives, and addressing challenges to support the organization’s operational goals in the financial services sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects within the financial services domain.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with company goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to maintain communication and ensure project success.
  • Proactively monitor project progress, addressing potential risks and issues as they arise.
  • Ensure project adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and data security best practices.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Oversee post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
