Millwork Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Millwork Engineer to join our team at McKenzie Services. As a Millwork Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and detailed programs, shop drawings, and submittals using Microvellum and AutoCAD.

• Design high-end millwork in Microvellum and AutoCAD under the direction of the Production Manager and Project Manager.
• Understand architectural blueprints and plans to translate them into full architectural millwork shop drawings for submittal and production purposes.
• Communicate with clients, architects, general contractors, and on-site trades to coordinate all details of a project.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fabrication techniques for custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and furniture.
• Possess knowledge of all materials and hardware used to manufacture the approved scope of work.
• Be motivated and organized with great communication skills.
• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.
• Work in the shop as required to gain familiarity/expertise with processes, products, and machinery.

• Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
• Extensive knowledge in CNC programming and tooling.
• Knowledge of custom millwork construction to AWI standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work on a deadline-driven schedule and handle pressure.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
