Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as necessary.
  • Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors, artifacts, and reacting appropriately.
  • Monitor patients prior to, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in patient condition.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area, ensuring equipment is properly functioning and reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Radiologic Technologist, or Cardiovascular Tech.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
