About the Job: We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in a community living setting.

About the Role: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, such as feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring, as well as encouraging self-help activities and fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
  • Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
  • Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
  • Encouraging self-help activities
  • Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $17.60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
