Avera is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in the Outpatient Services Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cardiac Rehab and Diabetic Education, and will be responsible for providing quality care to patients with diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and develop a plan of care.
  • Provide and coordinate quality care for diabetes management and education to clients, including physicians, ancillary departments, and co-workers.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop a plan of care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or above in nursing.
  • Six months RN experience.
  • Current Iowa RN license.
  • Current certifications include BLS, ACLS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting.
