We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mail Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Mail Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail, cross-training and working in all processes of mailroom operations, and performing repetitive movements including sitting, standing, kneeling, and reaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail from the United States Postal Service (USPS)
- Cross-train and work in all processes of mailroom operations
- Perform repetitive movements including sitting, standing, kneeling, and reaching
- Handle requests from Outlook inboxes
- Sort mail from internal mail couriers
- Process all outgoing mail and packages
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Familiarity with computer applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic)
- Ability to work any of our 6-hour shift schedules (30 hours/week) during our normal business hours of 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM EST from Monday - Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
- Organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- Collaborate and communicate with coworkers and other departments
Physical and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift 10 lbs or sit for long periods of time
