Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our primary care team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our members. You'll work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive primary care services, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Participate in the selection of suitable treatment plans for all patients, ensuring that care is tailored to meet individual needs.
- Supervise staff to ensure that the care team is providing appropriate care in accordance with their duties and obligations.
- Assist other care providers and extended care teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide continuous availability for medical and technical questions to employees, patient care staff, and ancillary care providers, including after-hours coverage.
- Actively participate in quality improvement programs and multidisciplinary quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure improvement of patient care and outcomes.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Occupational Health.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Must be licensed to practice in the appropriate state.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in promoting the clinic and its services.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
- Strong communication and patient communication skills.
Physical Job Requirements
- May require standing, walking, and sitting for extended amounts of time.
- Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Includes full range of body motion, including potential handling and lifting of patients.
- Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges.
