Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner Level II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures to patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures
  • Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities
  • Exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills to provide input to and implement the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis and physician orders
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and care, and effective communication
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year respiratory care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
  • RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner certification
  • NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification if required at the entity
  • RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist certification within 90 days
  • CRT-Certified Respiratory Therapist certification within 90 days
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
